Our neighbors are extremely nice people with a yard, a dog and 3 kids. The only thing they're missing is a white picket fence - which is a good thing. A couple of days ago we heard a knock on the door while unpacking some remaining boxes. At the door were the two youngest from next door with large zip lock bag in their hands. Turns out grandma's farm had an unusually large harvest of asparagus and they had some left over, so they brought it by. How...rural! We cooked some up that night for dinner and it was indeed quite delicious. There was some left over for grilling and then some. See, there are some perks to 'adult' living out in the boonies, besides being able to listen to music as loud as you want.
