Went canoeing on the Huron River for the first time in all my residence here in Ann Arbor. We started off at the Argo livery and made our way to Barton dam and back. The usual river trips were not operating because the water level was too high after the recent rains around here, so we got to freestyle-it up the river and back in a 4 mi loop that took about 2 hours. It was a nice day to be on the river, and by the end of our trip we all, some by accident, some intentionally, got to take a swim. In the image above the orange is a GPS trace of our trip from and back to Argo.
